A. Disassembly
1. Remove four (4) screws holding auto-pilot clutch
drum to bombsight clutch drum.
2. Disengage clutch and remove drum.
3. Remove adjusting screw.
4. Remove four (4) cotter pins from eccentric
follower block link pins.
5. Remove links and pins.
6. Tap straight pin from operating knob.
7. Remove four (4) screws holding eccentric bracket.
8. Remove eccentric and eccentric follower block.
B. Reassembly
1. Replace eccentric following block and eccentric.
2. Reinstall eccentric bracket.
3. Replace operating knob being sure that the stop
on the knob is toward the clutch drum and the
stop studs are diagonally across from each other.
4. Replace links and pins.
5. Replace cotter pins.
6. Replace adjusting screw and spring.
7. Place clutch collar on drum.
8. Reassemble auto-pilot and bombsight drum.

A. Disassembly
1. Loosen tension adjusting screw.
2. Remove locking plate and spacer.
3. Use fiber drift and mallet to remove bronze sight
stem bushing.
4. Remove drift gear from bushing.
5. Remove clutch collar from drift gear.
6. Remove stabilized brush stop plate.
B. Reassembly
1. Place clutch collar on drift gear.
2. Replace drift gear on bronze bushing.
3. Replace stabilized brush stop plate.
4. Insert bronze bushing in housing. Use mallet to
seat bushing.
5. Replace spacer and locking plate.
6. Tighten adjusting screw.
