A. Disassembly.
1.
Remove gyro locking knob retainer screw.
• Remove
locking knob.
3.
Remove
locking spring.
•
Remove
locking cone.
5.
Remove locking
sleeve,
4 screws.
6. Clean and lubricate with
film of light
oil.

Reassembly.
1.
Replace
locking knob sleeve.
2.
Replace locking cone.
3.
Install locking
spring.
4.
Replace
locking knob.
5. Insert gyro locking knob retainer screw.

Disassembly.
Remove
2 screws (M-3) 4 screws (M-6) and
remove housing.
2. Check
action of switch,
clean working
parts.
3. Check illuminating mirror in M-6 for
brightness
and
dust.
4.
To remove bulbs in M-3 remove two screws
in base of
socket and remove socket, then unscrew
buib.
The bulb
and switch are fastened to the re-
movable housing in
: M-3.
On the
M-6 the bulb and
rheostat are
mounted on a
mounting
bracket attached
to the
siaht case with 4
screws.
This mounting bracket
be removed.
To remove the bulb in the M-6 push down
and turn clockwise to release the
bayonetfrom
the
notch
Push
to Install bulb.
down
and
turn
counter clockwise

Reassembiy.
1.
Rep! ace

Check operation.
