B. Reassembly
Replace
bearing.
2. Replace
bearing on stud.
3. Replace bracket.
4. Rotate bearing and check for binding.
Replace screws and check again for free-
dom of roller movement. There must be no binding.
Do not force a part into place.
Disassembly
Remove 4
guides,
2 screws
cross trail carriage.
3. Cleanslides with carbon tet.,
alcohol or
benzine, wipe dry with clean cloth and lubricate
with light film of lightweight bombsight oil.
NOTE: There are two slides in M-6.
B. Reassembly.
complete disassembly of sight is

trail carriage until the sight stem
has been reinstalled.
Replace cross trail carriage.
• Replace slides and tighten screw firmly
evenly.

Slide C.T carriage back and forth. There
should be no binding.
If C.T. carriage slides
hard, check for dirt or tension of slides on the
C.T. carriage.

Tap taper pin from cross trail knob,
re-
move knob.
2.
Remove screw and remove yoke and actuat-
ing
shaft.
Reassembiy.
Replace
yoke, actuating shaft and screw.

trail knob and taper pin.
