Sight upper housing
The upper casting and its attached inspection window, hollow eyecup, caging control and data-book holder.
Follow the mechanism
The casting separates along its flange from the lower housing.
Separate the glass and six-screw retaining ring to inspect the window opening, or turn the casting to see the holder’s thumb notch and spring tongue.
The eyecup and caging fittings share the same geometry as the assembled sight and Figure44. Explode the groups to inspect their attachments.
The parts plates and exterior photographs establish visible fittings. Shell taper, window angle, internal seats and dimensions remain proportional; the photographed specimens are not a verified single variant.
Geometry follows the cited drawings and photographs. Unmeasured dimensions remain approximate; exploded spacing reveals existing model groups rather than a prescribed disassembly procedure.
