Sight lower housing
The lower casting, glazed telescope window and supporting stem beneath the gyro and telescope cardan.
Follow the mechanism
Turn the casting over to inspect the rectangular window on the rate-end side of the supporting stem.
Separate the glass, retaining frame and six-screw stem flange to see their attachments to the casting.
The narrow stem enters the stabilizer. Its axis is distinct from the telescope and gyro axes.
The parts sheets and underside photograph establish the visible arrangement. Casting sections, window placement and stem dimensions remain proportional; the photographs do not establish one identical production variant.
Geometry follows the cited drawings and photographs. Unmeasured dimensions remain approximate; exploded spacing reveals existing model groups rather than a prescribed disassembly procedure.

Inspect the full sheets as well as detail views. Figure numbers belong to their named document; similar-looking parts may be different variants.

Lower casting item1 remains intact; supporting stem2, crosstrail shaft3, sector10 and thrust washer11 are separated. Plate establishes open bowl and rate-side rectangular window seat; exploded spacing does not establish installed stem clearance.

Retained lower casting/course-control context with telescope glass6, retaining strips3/5 and locking pin7 separated. Different viewing direction from Fig12; not a fully assembled window silhouette.
