Cross-trail mechanism

The eccentric disc, dovetail slide and connecting linkage coupling sight-stem rotation to transverse telescope movement.

Follow the mechanism

The setting shifts the eccentric relationship. Turning the stem then moves the transverse slide.

The connecting rod carries that displacement to the telescope mechanism; inspect the simplified component study to see the constrained motion.

Geometry follows the cited drawings and photographs. Unmeasured dimensions remain approximate; exploded spacing reveals existing model groups rather than a prescribed disassembly procedure.
