Bombsight clutch
A slipping coupling between the directional reference and the sight, operated by a collar, lever and spring linkage.
Follow the mechanism
The upper cardan gudgeon forms the male clutch member.
The collar and toggle linkage engage the coupling; the connecting rod carries the motion to the sight.
Geometry follows the cited drawings and photographs. Unmeasured dimensions remain approximate; exploded spacing reveals existing model groups rather than a prescribed disassembly procedure.
